Some say fashion is just a statement, well this is true, but it is also a lifestyle. Fashion is a form of expression and a form of independence. It is a way to tell people who you are and what you are about without having to say a single word.
Seeing as this is my first year in college, I came with the idea that everyone in college dressed to impress. Boy! was I wrong. College kids dress for comfort not for style with outfits consisting of nothing but a hoodie and some sweats (sweatpants). I've seen some kids who come to class in their pajamas!
Although, dressing like a "bum" and being comfy is a good thing, it is not something you should do everyday. Putting effort into the way you look is something that could take you a long way. However, even I don't get dolled up every single day.
College is place for free expression........with a fashionable twist!
Your right it can be a way of self expression but is more to have someone look at you and notice you, in college the people you want to notice you care more about your grades and how you're doing then what you look like
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right, grades are just as important, if not more!
